This page explains exactly what messages Green Energy Transport sends by SMS, how you opted in by booking a ride, and how to opt out.
What messages we send
Green Energy Transport sends transactional SMS messages related to your account and ride bookings:
- One-time verification codes when you book a ride or sign in. These are required to confirm your phone number and prevent fraudulent bookings.
- Ride status updates— when a driver is assigned to your ride, when they're en route, when they've arrived, and when the ride is complete.
- Important account notifications— if there's an issue with your account, ride, or payment.
Green Energy Transport does not send marketing or promotional SMS messages.
How you opted in
You opt in to receive SMS messages from Green Energy Transport when you submit a booking request at greenenergytransport.com/book. The booking form includes an explicit consent checkbox that must be checked before you can submit your phone number.
The consent statement displayed at the point of opt-in is:
I agree to receive SMS messages from Green Energy Transport for ride verification, status updates, and account notifications. Message and data rates may apply. Message frequency varies. Reply STOP to unsubscribe. Reply HELP for help. See our SMS Policy and Privacy Policy.
Message frequency
Frequency varies based on your usage of Green Energy Transport. A typical rider receives:
- 1 SMS per booking attempt (verification code).
- 2–4 SMS per completed ride (status updates).
Riders who don't book rides typically receive zero SMS messages from Green Energy Transport.
How to opt out
Reply STOP to any Green Energy Transport SMS message to unsubscribe at any time. We will send a single confirmation reply and then stop sending you SMS.
Once you opt out, you won't be able to book rides through Green Energy Transport (verification codes can't be delivered). To opt back in, reply START to a previous Green Energy Transport message, or email us at hello@greenenergytransport.com.

Carrier charges
Message and data rates may apply per your mobile carrier's plan. Green Energy Transport does not charge for SMS messages.
Green Energy Transport is not responsible for delays in delivery caused by your carrier.
Supported carriers
Green Energy Transport's SMS messaging works with all major US carriers including AT&T, T-Mobile, Verizon Wireless, US Cellular, Sprint, Boost, MetroPCS, and most regional and MVNO carriers.
Data handling
Phone numbers collected for SMS are used only for the purposes described above. We do not sell, lease, or share phone numbers with third parties for marketing.
