Frequently asked

The honest answers.

Quick answers to what people ask us most.

  • How do I book?

Tap Book a ride, type your pickup and drop-off, enter your phone, and we'll text you a one-time code. Confirm the code and a driver is on the way. No account or app required.

  • Are the cars really electric?

Yes. Green Energy Transport is an all-electric service — every car in the fleet is an EV, so every ride is zero tailpipe emissions.

  • What neighborhoods do you serve?

Green Energy Transport opens one neighborhood at a time. When you start booking, the app will tell you immediately if your pickup or drop-off is outside our current service area.

  • How are drivers approved?

Dispatch — a real person — reviews every driver application. Green Energy Transport runs on a small, vetted bench rather than an open marketplace. Drivers know the neighborhood because they live in it.

  • How is the fare set?

Every ride is priced from a single active pricing rule (base + per-minute + per-mile). The rule that was active at the moment your ride completed is frozen on the ride record, so later rule changes never retroactively change historical fares.

  • What if something goes wrong?

From your receipt page you can open a refund request. Dispatch reviews it — not a chatbot. Every status change is logged with a timestamp so disputes have a paper trail.

  • Can I schedule a recurring ride?

Yes. Same trip every Tuesday at 8am, every weekday morning, whatever you need. You can deactivate and reactivate the recurrence at any time.

  • Does Green Energy Transport work offline?

The driver app is offline-tolerant: status updates queue locally and replay when the signal returns. The installable web app caches an offline shell.

  • Will my data be used to train models?

No. Green Energy Transport does not sell or license rider or driver data to third parties.
